What is Paintless Dent Removal & how it works
-
Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is a non-invasive method used to remove dents from your car-without sanding, filling or painting. Instead of replacing or repainting the damaged area, we carefully massage the metal back into shape using specialised tools and techniques.
-
No. The metal is reshaped, not covered up, so once the dent is out it stays out.
-
Yes. We work on both steel and aluminum panels, on everything from everyday cars to classics and exotics.
-
The PDR process involves using specialist tools to 'push' the dent out from the inside of the damaged panel. As long as the damaged panel does not have any major creases or cracked paint, the panel can be fully restored. If you're unsure, send us a couple of photos and we can let you know if we can do the job and how much it will cost.
-
Any dent that is not 100% repairable, we will bring to your attention. This is usually the case if the paint has been cracked or the metal has been stretched. This sort of damage will need to be repaired and resprayed at a panel shop.
-
Without seeing the dent first, it is difficult to give an estimation. It depends on the size, depth of the dent and where it sits on the panel.
-
I can, but it hurts my cheeks.
Still not sure?
Send Jack a photo of the dent, You’ll get a straight answer on whether PDR will work.
